LCA Awards for Excellence

At the end of every year, when we look back over the gardens and pools we’ve created with our clients, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together. Its always great when others like what we do too.

The annual Landscape Contractors Association of NSW & ACT (LCA) Awards recognise outstanding achievements in Landscape Design, Construction and Maintenance and have become the industry benchmark for excellence. We were proud to recently receive a total of 4 awards for 2009, winning all four categories entered. These included Winner for Residential Maintenance for a Manly residence and Winner for Residential Construction in all three categories; Residential under $75,000 for a courtyard garden in Randwick (pictured), Residential $76,000-$200,000 for a pool and garden in Waverton and Residential over $200,000 for a pool and garden in Strathfield. GOOD MANORS apprentice Ian Campbell also picked up the award for Apprentice of the Year. This winning garden and garage in Randwick was designed and constructed by GOOD MANORS and featured antique French doors framed with a formal group of Japanese Maples to soften the new garage. Planting was kept to the courtyard perimeter to maintain an open link between the existing house and the new building.
