Gabrielle Collins
Living in this harbour city, there is something familiar about Gabrielle Collins’ recent paintings that make these urban landscapes so intriguing and appealing. The scenes are carefully edited of information creating a strong geometric quality.
It was Gabrielle’s upbringing in Sydney and its inner city scenes that have been such a strong influence on her work. While her work has evolved over the years, this latest body of work is particularly influenced by Cockatoo Island and its environs.
Gabrielle has an exhibition at Damien Minton Gallery opening 20th October 2010. (Read More)
